Canaguinim Beach

Canaguinim beach is located at a distance of only 10-12 kilometers by land and 3 kilometres by sea in the south direction from the brilliant Mobora and Cavelossim resorts. This beach is somewhat unnoticed by tourists, but very much beautiful and wild. Actually Canaguinim is not just one beach but there are two beaches in Canaguinim which are South Canaguinim and North Canaguinim.

These are miniatures of heaven itself, being surrounded by flourishing wild vegetation, fully covered by gold-coloured sand and bathed by the pleasant and warm Arabian Sea waters. North Canaguinim extends to a distance of around 350 meters and the beach is protected by a land shaft in the west side and it has a little river running in the northern side.

South Canaguinim beach extends to a length of around 180 m and contains plenty of stones, making the beach unsuitable for many beach activities. Still, this Southern part of the Canaguinim beach is apt for pleasant walks, sun baths and picnics. Both the North and South Canaguinim beaches are very safe for you to swim, but again, swimming is not easy in South Canaguinim, due to too many stones.

Even though there are not much beach activities, the two beaches are known for their Baywatch just so that is safe for you to take a plunge into the tender waters of the Arabian Sea. Therefore, you can rest assured that there is absolutely no threat to your life while swimming in the Canaguinim beaches.
